The food is delicious and every server that we have met through the restaurant has been extremely kind and welcoming to my family. This is a place that I hope to take my kids to someday.! The best huevos con carne guisada. However, I prefer it with the salsa verde. I drive from Rowlett to Pleasant Grove just to eat breakfast on Sundays.
My wife and I stop here for dinner and we're not disappointed. I had the huevos ranchero with carne guisada and my wife had a carne guisada and egg with sausage. We had been a the other Gonzalez restaurant before so we knew not to order the flour tortillas because they are too thick. Overall the food was the bomb. The red salsa was good but the jalapeño salsa was hot, still good had to put that on everything.
